Boutique Accommodation Orchid Beach Fraser Island
Orchid Beach, Fraser Island.
With a resident population of less than 30 Orchid Beach township sits in a sheltered north facing bay over looking landmark headland Waddy Point. This almost untouched part of Fraser Island remains the secret domain of the local residents and those who stay in the limited accommodation available. Always with an abundance of lagoons, Orchid Beach is one of the few places on Fraser Island that offers safe ocean beach swimming.
These three secluded eco luxury beach houses are a quiet alternative to the high traffic tourist settlements in the south of Fraser Island. All offer ocean views.
The “top” house K’gari (the aboriginal name for Fraser Island) is one of the first houses built at Orchid Beach in 1991. Kgari is set high in the treetops and has extraordinary panoramic views over the ocean and surrounding area, Kgari is ideal for a family retreat.
The smaller newer cottages, Kyeema and Mia Mia are designed for couples only and perfect for those who want to escape and chill out in a secluded romantic setting.
Each house is totally private with separate access and parking. All are fully screened and have comprehensively equipped kitchens that are always appreciated by those who love to cook.
